Students at the Middle School of Plainville have been busy creating wooden toy ducks equipped with rotating wheels, artwork, and a valuable lesson in STEAM as part of the summer RAMP program. Led by faculty member Camille Westfall, students were engaged in planning, measuring, cutting, and creating the lovable duck toys utilizing a variety of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) skills. The dynamic, hands-on learning project was enjoyed by all and the paddle of duck feet could be heard throughout the school as students walked them up and down the hallways!
