Monies in School Buildings

Monies collected by school district personnel and student organizations shall be handled in a manner consistent with acceptable business practice. A school activity fund shall handle the finances of school organizations, programs provided by the Board of Education, and donations or gifts.

The Director of Finance and Operations or designee shall serve as treasurer of school activity funds. Such treasurer shall be bonded and shall keep accurate records of the separate accounts within the school activity fund. School activity funds shall remain in the name of the respective schools and organizations.
