Understanding Yourself & Others - Students will become aware of their feelings, recognize differences among each other and develop a positive self-image.

Career Matchmaker  - Students will complete the Career Matchmaker Assessment on Career Cruising. They will explore careers of interest.

F.R.E.D DAY:  F.R.E.D.= Feel Relaxed Every Day.  On F.R.E.D. Day the 7th grade Teachers and School Counselor will deliver lessons on stress management and stress reduction strategies.  Our "mascot" is F.R.E.D., the breathing ball, which is used to help demonstrate breathing strategies.

Various groups will be offered to students to participate in throughout the school year. The groups are held for a variety of reasons such as: improving social skills, improving self-esteem, coping with family changes, coping with grief, managing anger, etc.

Individual planning interviews take place throughout the school year with each 7th grade student. These interviews are conducted in order to assist each student with establishing future goals and to identify activities, interests, strengths/weaknesses and likes/dislikes.
