The Plainville DECA Chapter is an extensive club that has been helping members grow since the late 1970's. Generations, upon generations who have attended Plainville High School have become members throughout the years. However, for this 2007-2008 school year, there are fourty three DECA members--which is a major increase in membership over the past few years. Each year, DECA participates in charitable events that help benefit various communities and organizations. Similarly, the DECA school store helps fund trips, events, state dues, and other DECA operated activities. By setting high goals, students in the Marketing Education I , II, and independent study classes strive to win first, second, and third prize in the state-wide DECA Conference. Over the past years, many trophies have been won in a variety of competitive events. This coming year's competition will be overwhelmed by brilliant and successful Plainville High School Marketing students. The meetings for DECA are announced and held on Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m. in room 128. In the duration of these meetings, the events and activities of DECA are planned and organized. We know we'll have a great year, and thank all who visit the website and support our High School chapter!
