The boys and girls in Mrs. Valentine's morning and afternoon kindergarten class visited Gnazzo's. They had a behind the scenes tour of the grocery store and shopped for the Plainville Food Pantry.
Students in Myra Boccardi's first grade class at Linden Street School recently enjoyed "Pajama Day" and a holiday music sing -a long led by Linden parent Greg Michaud. Mr. Michaud, who's daughter is in the first grade class, accompanied the sing-a-long on guitar, took holiday song requests from the students, and also performed an original piece.

Constitution Day
In honor of Constitution Day on September 17, Linden third graders in Mrs. Camp's class created the "Camp Class Constitution" after learning about how the United States Constitution was created. Students wrote their own rules that they want to follow for each of them to be able to do their best work during the school year.
Hat Day!
The Linden Street School Student Council recently sponsored a Hat Day on behalf of the Foundation for Children with Cancer. Students donated one dollar to wear a hat to school resulting in a collection of more than $300 for the charity.
