Policy

General Regulations

1. The class advisors are responsible for all scheduled class activities.

2. Advisors assigned to class activities such as decorations, refreshments, etc., must be in attendance at all times with their groups and assume complete responsibility.

3. Chaperones will be assigned by the Assistant Principal or Dean of Students. They are to be present until the conclusion of the entire event.

4. No dance is to be scheduled on Sunday.

5. All decorations must be fire resistant. No evergreens are allowed for decorative purposes. Movable scaffolds should be moved and set up by custodians only.

6. No guests will be allowed to attend unless they are issued a guest pass by the administration prior to the activity.

7. Hand stamping of all who enter helps the chaperones to identify students that might have slipped in.

8. Any student leaving the building during a dance or activity is not to be readmitted.

9. Smoking is prohibited on the school grounds.

10. Police must report to the Assistant Principal, Dean of Students or activity advisor for instructions.

11. An activity report form, tickets and money bag must be picked up on the day of the event.

12. Deposit the money bag from the event immediately following the activity in the school safe for later deposit in the school activity fund.


13. The area used for the activity must be cleaned up and ready for school use by 8:00 a.m. the following morning during weekdays and by 8:00 a.m. Monday after a weekend activity.

14. Activities requiring the use of the lighting board in the auditorium shall require the services of a lighting supervisor who will be assigned by a school administrator or his/her designee.

15. Class and club advisors should work out all activity arrangements with respect to calendar. All activities shall be posted on the district's calendar to avoid conflicts.

16. School organizations planning fundraisers should check with the administration and pick up a Fund Raiser"s Request form from the Assistant Principal or Dean of Students.
