Westfall Holding Award

Middle School of Plainville Technology Education teacher Camille Westfall, is the recipient of this year's Technology Student Association (TSA) Chapter Advisor of the Year award.  This award is presented to (TSA) chapter advisors who have provided exemplary service and support to the Technology Student Association.

“Mrs. Westfall has given me the chance to learn and grow, not only as a future engineer and a leader, but also as an individual,” said Valiantsin  Kasabrukhau, a former TSA member. “I will never forget my time with MSP TSA, and I can’t wait to watch this chapter continue to thrive under her leadership.”

The award was slated to be presented to Westfall at the TSA’s national conference this year which was cancelled due to COVID-19. This is the second time in her career that she has received the award.

“I have been involved with TSA for over 25 years. I love being able to expose students to the various areas of science, engineering, innovation, and robotics technology,” said. Westfall. “More importantly, I love watching them become confident leaders of the future.”

“It is no surprise to me that Camille would receive such recognition.  She is a master teacher and an inspiration to so many students interested in technology,” said Middle School of Plainville Principal, Matthew Guarino.

"My sincere congratulations to Ms. Westfall on this recognition, adding to a long list of prior honors and distinctions in the field she is so committed to. We are fortunate to have committed educators like Camille, who truly love what they do, and share their passion and knowledge with our students," noted Superintendent Steven LePage.
