An Appeals Board will be established to consider any appeals made as a result of loss of credit due to absences. The student should have excused notes for all absences, tardiness and dismissals in his/her folder in the high school office.

The Appeals Board will consist of an administrator and the counselor of the affected student. The student may be invited to be present at the meeting. In the event that a student's appeal is denied, the student will lose credit in the course. The student may be given the opportunity to select another course for the following semester.

If a student successfully audits the course for which he/she has lost credit according to the Attendance Policy, the student may be given the opportunity to make up the course during the summer school.
