Students have better learning opportunities in a school district that has an open, two-way communication program with staff members and the public. When staff members are fully informed and involved, they will be more effective. When citizens understand the needs of students and the programs offered them, they will have a greater opportunity to support learning in Plainville.
Plainville Community Schools is committed to a communication program that provides all stakeholders with objective, up-to-date information about the district; a way to express their opinions to the school system administration and the Board; and opportunities to be involved in the education of Plainville students.
The Superintendent will establish a district communications program that meets the standards set forth in this policy.
