Bill Petit opened the floor to citizen comments.

Rodney Wolfel, 10 Weatherstone Ridge - As a member of the Building Committee, he would like the Building Committee to receive courtesy copies of agendas and minutes of Steering Committee Meetings.

RON PAVANO MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE MINUTES FROM THE NOVEMBER 21, 2002 MEETING. TOM WAZORKO SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

Rodney Wolfel reported on the Building Committee. The Building Committee will be meeting with the four architects they selected on January 8 and January 9, 2003 in Room 400 of the High School.

The Committee discussed communications. The committee will make a formal request for a Town Council Liaison. The committee would also like to set up a joint meeting with the Board of Education and Town Council to discuss the Long Range Plan.

The Committee discussed the Long Range Plan.

RON PAVANO MADE A MOTION TO APPROVE THE LONG RANGE PLAN WITH PROJECTS LISTED IN THE FOLLOWING ORDER AND ADDITIONAL VERBAGE TO BE ADDED BY THE COMMUNICATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE: 1. LINDEN ADDITION, 2. MIDDLE SCHOOL FIT OUT, 3. TOFFOLON ADDITION, 4. HIGH SCHOOL RENOVATIONS, 5. WHEELER ADDITION. TOM WAZORKO SECONDED THE MOTION. A discussion followed. THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

The committee discussed the 1930's portion of Linden St. School.

RON PAVANO MADE A MOTION TO ADJOURN. RICHARD IRELAND SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION WAS PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
