Len Tundermann, Town Planner, presented the "Projected Plainville Enrollment from Approved and Anticipated New Housing 2002-04" to the Committee. The committee discussed the projections.

Bill Petit opened the floor for citizen comments. There were no comments.

Kathy Veronesi and Barbara Willard discussed the committee’s monthly communications. The committee members worked with central office staff to send a news release regarding the post referendum survey results. The next article will discuss the demographics and housing impact.

Jack Mastrianni presented the committee with his proposal for renovating Linden St. School. The committee discussed the proposal. The committee agreed to set up a meeting with Dave Wedge, from the School Facilities Unit of the State Department of Education, to discuss regulations and reimbursement rates.

The committee discussed its new charge. The committee agreed to invite Ted Merritt to its August meeting. The committee will also walk through the schools in September.

Bill Petit asked the committee if they had any further comments regarding the implications of the post referendum study. The committee had no comments.

Ron Pavano made a motion to adjourn. Barbara Willard seconded the motion. The committee adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
