Ken Prigodich called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

Bill Mead of Jeter Cook and Jepson gave the committee on the project. He discussed proposals for site borings for $8, 500 and a traffic impact study for $4,950.

RON PAVANO MADE A MOTION TO ADOPT THE TWO PROPOSALS AS DESCRIBED BY BILL MEAD TO GET STARTED ON TEST BORINGS. MOTION SECONDED BY JAY STEEVES. Motion was approved 8-0.

Becky Tryrell joined the meeting at 6:40 p.m.

Jeter Cook and Jepson presented an overview of the schematics. The committee reviewed schematic drawings including the site plan, capacity analysis, floor plans, room layouts, elevations, electrical, and mechanical plans. The committee discussed the gymnasium layout with Jeter Cook & Jepson. Also Jeter Cook & Jepson discussed the pros and cons of block walls versus sheet rock walls with the committee as well as the need for an underground system for runoff.

Jack Mastrianni left the meeting at 7:20

Bill Mead presented the committee with two invoices. The first invoice is for service through August 31, 2003 for a total of $63,060.03. The second invoice is for services from September through October 5, 2003 for a total of $90, 175.16.

RON PAVANO MADE A MOTION TO SUBMIT THE TWO INVOICES FROM JETER COOK AND JEPSON FOR AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER FOR $63,060.03 and $90,175.16 TO ALAN SCHUTZ FOR PAYMENT.

The committee discussed meeting minutes. Ken Prigodich will ask the town to provide a recording secretary for future committee meetings.

The committee discussed the fast tracking the site, concrete, steel and masonry with Jeter Cook and Jepson and Downes Construction.

Steve Martino left the meeting at 8:00 p.m.

RON PAVANO MADE A MOTION TO GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION. BARBARA WILLARD SECONDED THE MOTION. The committee went into executive session at 8:05 p.m. and discussed the contract with Downes Construction.

RON PAVANO MADE A MOTION TO LEAVE EXECUTIVE SESSION. BARBARA WILLARD SECONDED THE MOTION. The committee went into public session at 8:20 p.m.

RON PAVANO MADE A MOTION TO ACCEPT THE DOWNES CONTRACT AS DISCUSSED WITH THE TOWN ATTORNEY WITH ALAN SCHUTZ. BARBARA WILLARD SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION WAS APPROVED 8-0.

BECK TYRELL MADE A MOTION TO ADJOURN. BARBARA WILLARD SECONDED THE MOTION. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
