Meeting was called to order by Ken Prigodich at 6:35 p.m.

David Jepson presented plans for the new gymnasium option to the committee. He also presented the committee with a model of the Linden St. School project.

Bill Mead discussed the Conceptual Cost Estimate for the Gymnasium with the committee. He also presented the committee with a Conceptual Estimate for Probable Costs and discussed future renovation plans for the original Linden St. School building. Mr. Mead discussed the Estimated Project Cost, Estimated State Reimbursement and Estimated Cash Flow with the committee.

RON PAVANO MADE A MOTION TO ACCEPT THE PLAN AS PRESENTED BY JETER COOK & JEPSON AND TO REQUEST A REFERRENDUM FROM THE TOWN COUNCIL FOR $21,770,000. JAY STEEVES SECONDED THE MOTION. The motion passed unanimously.

The Committee discussed communications. Jeter Cook and Jepson presented the group with drafts of the mailings about the Linden St. School Project. The committee discussed revisions to the mailings. Jeter Cook & Jepson will make revisions to the mailings. Jeter Cook & Jepson will also provide the information to be published on the Plainville Community Schools' website. The committee also discussed presentations with Jeter, Cook & Jepson.

Ken Prigodich left the meeting at 7:40 p.m. and Ron Pavano presided over the remainder of the meeting.

The committee will make presentations to the Board of Education and the Town Council on Monday, April 7. A presentation will also be scheduled with the Linden St. School PTO and the Senior Center. The committee will discuss the presentations at its next meeting. The Linden St. School Building Committee will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at 6:30 p.m.

GEORGE ISKRA MADE A MOTION TO ADJOURN. JAY STEEVES SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
