Jeter, Cook and Jepson made their presentation and answered questions from the Building Committee.

Tai Soo Kim made their presentation and answered questions from the Building Committee.

The Building Committee discussed the presentations from Fletcher Thompson; Schoenhardt; Jeter, Cook and Jepson; and Tai Soo Kim Partners.

RODNEY WOLFEL MADE A MOTION TO ELIMINATE SCHOENHARDT FROM CONSIDERATION. RAY CARROLL SECONDED THE MOTION. The motion passed unanimously.

The Building Committee discussed and ranked Fletcher Thompson; Jeter, Cook and Jepson; and Tai Soo Kim.

RON PAVANO MADE A MOTION TO INVITE JETER, COOK AND JEPSON AND TAI SOO KIM BACK FOR A SECOND INTERVIEW. BECKY TYRRELL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED WITH RON PAVANO, MEL MASSE, BECKY TYRRELL, RAY CARROLL, BARBARA WILLARD IN FAVOR. RODNEY WOLFEL, JAY STEEVES, JACK MASTRIANNI, GEORGE ISKRA WERE OPPOSED. A discussion followed.

The committee opened the fee proposals from the architect firms. The proposals are as follows: Tai Soo Kim, $65,000 plus $5000 estimated expenses; Jeter Cook and Jepson, $37,000 plus $1,500 estimated expenses; Schoenhardt, $30,000; Fletcher Thompson, $15,000 plus expenses.

RODNEY WOLFEL MADE A MOTION TO REOPEN THE VOTE. RAY CARROLL SECONDED THE MOTION. Motion passed unanimously.

RODNEY WOLFEL MADE A MOTION TO HIRE JETER COOK AND JEPSON. RON PAVANO SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.

RODNEY WOLFEL MADE A MOTION TO REPLACE COMMITTEE MEMBERS WHO DO NOT ATTEND THREE CONSECUTIVE MEETINGS. THE MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. A discussion followed.

The committee will invite Jeter, Cook and Jepson to the Steering Committee's combined meeting with the Board of Education and Town Council on January 16, 2003. The committee will also invite Jeter, Cook and Jepson to the next Building Committee meeting, on January 23, 2003.

JAY STEEVES MADE A MOTION TO ADJOURN. RAY CARROLL SECONDED THE MOTION. THE MOTION PASSED UANIMOUSLY. The meeting was adjourned at 10:20 p.m.
