Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Scheduled For Hight School Turf Field Project
A ribbon cutting ceremony for the Plainville High School Turf Field project has been scheduled for Thursday, May 26, 2016, according to Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Maureen Brummett. The ceremony will be held at 4:00 PM, on the main field at 47 Robert Holcomb Way. The event will feature several speakers, and local and state officials will be on hand for the program.
"This will be a great event to acknowledge everyone who has been involved with this project, and a chance to showcase the new track and turf athletic fields that have been installed," said Plainville High School Turf Field Committee Chairman, Phil Cox.
"I am looking forward to celebrating the collective efforts of so many people that made our turf field a reality," noted Superintendent Brummett.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is open to the public, and will be held rain or shine.
