High School Auditorium Rededication Ceremony To Be Held
A rededication ceremony marking the official opening of the renovated Plainville High School auditorium will be held on Thursday, December 14th at 7:15 PM. Completion of the auditorium refurbishment marks the first milestone in the building renovation project currently underway at the high school facility.
“We are very excited about offering our holiday concert to the community in our new auditorium. The time and the effort put in by the auditorium committee and the funding for the project are very much appreciated by the Plainville High School community,” commented Principal Greg Ziogas.
The rededication ceremony will feature a number of guest speakers including Ziogas, Superintendent Kathleen Binkowski, Plainville Board of Education Chairperson Becky Tyrrell, State Representative Elizabeth Boukus, and other local dignitaries.
“The Auditorium Building Committee has done an outstanding job with this project, and as a result, we have a beautiful facility to showcase the talents of our students and the community. We are thrilled with the results of the auditorium renovation and look forward to enjoying many performances in the years to come,” noted Superintendent Kathleen Binkowski.
Following the ceremony, Plainville High School will feature a holiday concert in the auditorium beginning at 7:30 PM. The rededication ceremony and concert are open to the public.
